Virtual or online"parties" are a HUGE part of this business. This is where we share new products, make sales, but most importantly we EXPAND OUR NETWORK through parties! But we don't always have to throw a typical 10-day party. Here are some ideas on how you can customize the experience. Most importantly, you want to make sure you have graphics, videos, and products that you are proud of. :) Create some simple and class photo-graphics with your face so that we are never sales-y, film some quick videos in natural light, offer something of value (solve a problem, teach a beauty tip) in every post, and give these girls something that will help they will connect with you!
Traditional 5 Day Party:
• Set this style of party up as a group. Book this style of party with one hostess and have her add friends to this group. Provide her with a graphic she can post on her wall to let girls know she has added them to this exclusive group!
• Open a party link under your hostess' name so that she receives the rewards.
• Create a beauty series or class that offers beauty solutions, tips, tricks, and application tutorials. You don't have to call it a party. (Beauty bash, beauty series, beauty social, beauty class...you can even give it a fun name. I call mine "About Face" Beauty Series)
• Make it more about teaching and helping, rather than showcasing products.
• Don't feel like you have to use ALL of our products. Stick to what you like best and feel most comfortable sharing.
• Don't ask too much of party members. Games and giveaway qualifications don't work well in this setting. DO NOT worry if parties like this are quiet with not a lot of interaction. This is typical for a makeup party. Just let girls listen, lurk, and learn from you first. It helps to build trust!
• Absolutely invite them to join your CBG when you are done!
CBG Event:
• Message hostesses to book "VIP events" with you. Have them add girls to your CBG. Run an EVENT from your CBG for these girls.
• While events are usually not as effective as groups for Younique parties, this is one way to grow your CBG quickly!
• Open a party link under your hostess' name so that she receives the rewards.
VIP Group Party:
• Invite girls from your friends list and CBG to a group event you are throwing.
• Set this up as a group and add these girls to the group.
• Open a party link under your own name (you will host the party).
• Message each of these girls to invite them to add 10-20 girls to this group, and say they will receive VIP status. If the series has qualifying orders, those VIP members can earn perks!
• Since this is your own party link, you can decide what to do with the rewards! You can give girls who have friends that ordered some Y Cash at the end. But if their friends don't order, no big deal. A party link like this has more potential to earn higher rewards. But you can decide how to use those rewards. You could buy a lip gloss for girls who had friends that ordered. You could give them 1/2 offs. In the end, you are technically the hostesses, and you can do what you will with the rewards!
• Keep track of who is placing orders under the VIPS by looking at who the mutual friend is. If you don't recognize the new member, send a friend request and make a note of who your mutual friend is in the group. That's the VIP member who you would reward if her friends spend over a certain amount!
Battle of the Hostess:
• This can be done as separate parties OR in a group setting.
• If it is separate party groups, the hostess with the highest party sales gets a fun prize!
• If you add all the hostesses to one big group, make sure you explain this to the guests. Go live or make a video, and create a pinned post with photos of the hostesses and their individual party links.
• Mae sure to mention in EVERY post that they need to shop from the hostess links in the pinned post. The hostess with the most sales wins a prize!
Fundraiser:
• You can donate 100% of your commissions to a cause!
• You can throw a fundraiser with any of the options listed above. If you have a hostess throwing a fundraiser, she will get the Y Cash and 1/2 offs. If you are throwing a VIP Group Party, YOU can keep the hostess rewards if you'd like! You can also donate or sell the products you buy with the hostess rewards to another good cause. This is totally up to you!
